The Bell Memorial Library is named after one of Mentone's most famous citizens...Lawrence D. Bell, whom founded Bell Aircraft. Mentone has had a library since 1916, the new beautiful library in downtown Mentone was finished in 2004. The library, senior center, and day care center are all within the same building. The new library is user friendly and is open 7 days a week.
